Don't get me wrong, I don't hate this fic. I'm just pointing out some glaring errors to help you write better. The Japanese barrier thingy was when Rei shouted 'no' in Japanese. Why did the Fellwship understand what she said? They certainly didn't know how to speak Japanese nor did they understand the language. And also, they can't be Mary Sues, because they're part of another canon. Mary Sues are idealized projections of the author, and I'm sure Usagi and gang don't belong to you, do they? I'm no great writer, but I'm reviewing just to help you write a bit better. Sorry for the bother if you think that you don't need constructive critism in this fic, but the logic is that, if you don't want negative reviews, then don't post. Oh, and by the way, why was Usagi angry when she was compared to Galadriel? Is Usagi the most beautiful character in SM? If not, then she can't be compared to Galadriel, because Galadriel is one of the fairest Elves in Middle Earth. |

Hmm... if the characters intruding in the canon weren't Usagi and gang, I'd say that it's very Mary-Sueish. Maybe you should put AU instead of crossover, because from what I've seen of Sailor Moon, Sauron doesn't seem to be running their world. And you can't pair Usagi with Aragorn, because at that time, he's already in love with Arwen, don't you know? People don't change their love interests in the blink of an eye.
Maybe you could expand on the sentences a little, make them more descriptive. Eg. '"Crebain!" Legolas shouted, and they all hid.' You could replace it with ' "Crebain!" Legolas shouted. Aragorn's eyes shot to the 'cloud' as if to confirm Legolas's words. "Hide!" he commanded. The others hastily grabbed their things and scrambled to find a place to hide.' etc. It would sound better.
Oh, and when did the Fellowship learn how to speak Japanese instead of Westron? |
