Your characterization is exquisite.
Seto is his perfectly broody self, Yuugi and Yami are just as they should be, and even Joey, right down to his way of speaking is right on target...
And your plotline (Though to me, it seems Joey would have more of a thing for Yuugi than Yami, personally) is highly believable.
I seriously hope you plan to finish this.
The songs fit amazingly. Songs I never thought would be able to fit a fanfic at all, and certainly not together. But each fits, not only the plot, but the character as well. (All the colorful language in the last chapter really jives well with Jono-chan)
Anyway, so far, this is fantastic. |

I like it when I find a well written song fic. I think I stumbled over this one when I saw a review you left for another story, and I'm glad I did.
I was very surprised that Kaiba was the one who finally relented. His sorrow in the first chapter was nicely done, as was Yami's regret in the second. But Jou in the third slayed me. Protective and full of hate for Kaiba, it was both funny and sweet. And angsty!
Nicely done. I would love to see what happens after the two estranged lovers finally reunite. |
