Thanks a lot for your review! Unfortunately, I've been going by the dubbed english version (if only i spoke japanese!) and so some facts were changed. With the whole Anzu-Yugi-Yami thing, there are a lot of fanfics with it, and so i just omitted the whole thing... I shouldn't have put Yugi liking Cali in there; it's not really relevant and it's not going to come up again. i know i've changed some of the characters a lot, but to get to the romance stuff, I've got to soften Kaiba up a lot. I can't really imagine him with a girl in that way... btw, the english version, he says to Yugi that if he attacked then the (i think...) electro-magnetic waves or somethingorothers would send him reeling over the wall. Also, I may be wrong, but I think Isis told him about Yami when she was showing him the stuff in the museum...or maybe she just said he was the reincarnation of him. well, i'll give it ratings after a little more time. Okay, i'll review it while i read it. Oh yeah, and BTW, i to, am sick of the continuous Yaoi fics Yugioh gets. So i'm glad of a straight Yugioh pairing fic that's actually more than G. OKay, chapter one:
heh, the thing that happened between Anzu (e. Tea) and Honda (e. Tristan) remind me a lot of Misty and Brock from Pokemon. Yeah, Honda making an idiot of himself again. Funny thing is, Honda and Jonouchi (e. Joey) are usually up on par with idiocy. I guess that's what makes them best friends. On to chapter 2:
Heh, that's ALMOST an exact duplicate of Kaiba's personaility. Yeah, i guess that's how he would act to a girl. I guess Scizoran and Gonzaburu Kaiba (Kaiba's cruel, adpoted father) must have had sort of a business relationship together. Hey, i never thought of online dueling that way. I guess you're right in saying Kaiba wouldn't aprove of it. On to chapter 3:
Well, i've hlearned to live with people calling Yami Yugi just Yami, however, i still cringe when i read Yugi calling Yami Yugi "Yami". In the original japanese version, Yami Yugi never had that conversation with Yugi to call him "Yami". He doesn't know his name. He didn't know that he was a pharoah until Isis (e. Ishizu) told him. In the original, Yugi just calls Yami Yugi "other me". However, i have nothing against you doing it. Heh, Yugi and Yami Yugi hitting on Cali. Well, it doesn't really matter, but it isn't consistant with the fact that Yugi likes Anzu and Anzu likes Yami, with Yami not really liking anyone in "that way". Well, i don't exactly see Kaiba as the jealous type. I think it would have been better to portray him as in denial of him liking her, but that's just my view of what Kaiba's personality is more like. Also, Kaiba doesn't really differentiate from Yugi and Yami Yugi. He knows both of them as Yugi. Magnetism? I don't recall him saying anything about magnetism in the original or the dub. In the original, he said that he would jump off when his life points reached zero. Also, Kaiba would never dream of doing anything bad to Mokuba. But, i guess everything but the “You never listen to me!” “Leave me alone!” quote is accurate impressions of their personalities.
