I would like to add a small comment that the author's delving into Spike's conscious is nothing less than amazing in its writing.. This is a rare piece to explore a character's mind in such a way and keep it in character. |

The chapter itself was good. A nice realistic background for Spike and a small amount of further development of his present self. However, overall, the story needs to go somewhere next chapter. It is not that the story has lacked action, but there has been enough insight into the characters at this point, and the story needs to move along. I'm not saying this chapter was a mistake, it was good and, although I don't know what direction the story will take, the information was probably necessary. To sum it up, I'm still a loyal reader :) |

I gave you a low score on creativity because plotwise, this is hardly anything new. That said, it is nearly impossible to come up with an original post-series Bebop story without running very much along the lines you have done. This does not diminish the enjoyment of the fic at all though, in my opinion. Plotwise it's same old, but your writing style and interpretation is excellent. You seem to have gotten all of the subtlies of the show and woven them into your story, keeping up the feeling of the show beyond simply having the characters stay true to form. Very few writers do that. I am definately looking forward to you finishing this. |

I am officially sucked in. Your style is very concise, yet expressive. Powerfully written, and emotional in Spike's own vernacular...short, to-the-point. Your characterization is superb, and I'm very excited to see where you are going with this story! Heck, I'm even starting to feel a connection to Vicious! I can already sense Spike's growth as *your* character, now! (Okay, I don't want to get the copywrite nazis on your case, sorry!) Please, continue the great work...it's a very enthralling read! |

This ia awesome! This is probably the best Cowboy Bebop fanfic I've read. You write really well in first person, and you continued the story from the series nicely, it had a nice flow to it. The way you made it to where Spike was still alive acutually bebeivable too which was good. It sucked when he died at the end. The dream sequences were good too, it gave us an idea of what is going on inside his head.
