Sometimes when Yami tortured Ryou he looked a bit like Akito from Fruits Basket, but maybe it's only in my imagination! Anyway, your story is VERY NICE and you HAVE TO UPDATE SOON! |

Now for some constructive critisism....
I've read most of your fics, and have been following a bunch of them for quite a while now. You have good (re: fun & evil) plots, and you update quite often. You do have some problems, but they're easily taken care of if you feel like taking the time.
1- plot out your fics. Get an outline, and what goes in which chapter. This may prevent you from updating as often, but your chapters might be longer and the plot more flowing (notice what happened to Father Mother Lover-- you killed them off randomly). You plots are GOOD but you might want to be less impulsive when writing.
2- Get someone to read over your fics before you post them. You don't have many huge mistakes (like writing sentances that don't make sense) but they tend to run on. And make the comma your friend. The comma is my friend. Don't you like the comma?

But I really have enjoyed what I've read of your work. Keep writing and with time (and a beta! *snugs her Lysbeta*) you'll become a very good author.
And let me just say... having a beta isn't bad. Get someone you LIKE to do it, and they'll praise your work and fix it up to be all nice and pretty. If you have a beta already.... Sorry to say that you should get a better one. Preferably someone who's older and knows the series very well.
*__* My beta is very fun. She's a fluff writer, I'm an angst writter. She gives happy endings, I kill them off.
So that all said... You HAVE improved. Go you. *waves flag*

this is a great fanfic and actually was the first ive ever read and so far my fave....but i wonder if chp.7 was the last because it felt like a cliffhanger to me please continue the story, it was getting so good too! |
