Cataluna, once again, you're fanfictions prove near perfect. ^^ I like the view you put on Inuyasha and Kagome's relationship. You're right, they shouldn't just "jump in bed" together like some other authors like to do. Going from friends to lovers IS a big step, so I'm glad you highlighted that issue. The only reason I gave you a 9 on Spelling and Grammar (I wasn't sure where else to put it... ^^;) was because the italics and non-italics at the beginning of paragraphs in chapter one was kind of confusing. ^^ Still, it didn't take away the fact that your work is practically flawless, Cat! ^^ *smiles* I wonder, will you be continuing this story? Just curious.

This is really good! I'm not too well-versed in this anime title, but I am familiar with both print and show series, and decided to take a look. Your story did not disappoint! The level of emotion involved so far really sells the plot you have going, and I sincerely hope that you don't decide to end it after just these two chapters. There will be more, right? In close, the reason for the overall rating? It was a well worded, thought-out, and above all, enjoyable read! Now, write more!! |

*blinks* Wow, that was some fic start! Now I'm definately looking forward to Inu's POV. Will you start when he finds out about Kikyou and he thoughts till he goes back?
Also, I'm wondering what his thoughts are as to Why he started what was started...why he continues to do so and WHY he hasn't said anything about his feelings for her at anytime during their times together? Why is he afraid to say them?? He has very strong feelings for her....that's obvious, but why won't he express them in Words? So she can understand? |

So Cat, this is the one you were talking about. I like the perspective that you've started here with Kagome. We can only guess what Inuyasha's true feelings were in the manga when he thought Kikyou was really dead. You show his pain, and his need, through Kagome's eyes in a very realistic way. Along with how far she's willing to go to comfort him. Wonderful beginning.
And aren't Merith and Niamh wonderful beta readers. |
