Do I feel stupid. I just checked out your web site and found out that you already long since past that chapter 8 and into Chapter 11B, and that you already had the "catch many objects in the air before they land" for about 4 months already. Oh well. If AT fields are the same as Ki or at least can be used the same way, all of Genma's sealed techniques would be allow the Evas to take on Angels on a more equal footing. In paticular the "void wave" technique would give a good distance attack that could probably reach the Angel's cores and take out "crowd attacks".

I do not know if my previous post got through or not. The Amazons certainly inspire ambivalent feelings. Depending on how they act, maybe Shinji could take them all back with him to deal with all the conspiracies. As for the speed training here is an original and much improved idea for Shinji to give to Ranma so he does not waste his time with the fire and chestnuts or working at the restaurant. Just get a box of 750 flat toothpicks and a pot. Toss all of the toothpicks in the air and try to grab them and put them in the pot before any of them hit the ground. This can initially be done with handfulls, but the goal is to improve until the toothpicks can be grabbed individually. Cheaper, faster, and better for hand-eye coordination. This can then be followed up with using pachinko game balls (small steel balls). For leg speed, do the same thing except to kick the objects into the pot. Strength and damage resistance training can be built-in by doing it in water too.

Since your last chapter asked for comments... Its a good story. Looks Shinji would already make decisions that would make his world a better place rather than the canon one that a reviewer referred to as "mindf**k" at http://catsonmars.com/otaku/articles/eva.php I have ambivalency regarding the Amazons, though not your characterization. Maybe Shinji should get the entire Amazon "nation" together and take them on a trip to his world with the offer of helping him deal with all the conspiracies and the Angels and have chance of being a major power in a world that knows nothing of their strengths and weaknesses or die trying when the Third Impact occurs... Here is an idea for Shinji to give to Ranma so he does not keep wasting his time burning his hands until he gets to the fair and even be a significant improvement over the original training, and you can use this idea if you want to and I do not think these have ever been used in an Ranma story. Shinji can just buy a box of 750 or so flat toothpicks (the cheap wooden kind) and have a bowl nearby. Empty the box of toothpicks into one hand, toss them up and try to place them all in the bowl before any toothpick hits the ground. Initially it is allowed to grab a bunch at a time, but the goal is to gradually be fast enough to place the toothpicks into the bowl individually. This is a significantly better speed training over the original because it is cheaper, easier and faster to keep re-doing, has the trainee focus only on speed rather than worrying about being burned, allows for far greater speed training than the original, and includes far greater precision and dexterity training due to the smaller targets than the original training. Once that training is completed a more advanced training can be done by getting a bag of pachinko balls (looks like small steel ball bearings, used in the common pachinko game parlors) and doing the same training to build up strength as well. Next would be to do it at the koi pond but to grab the steel balls AFTER they pass through the water. The reason for this is to build up the ability to punch through armor with strength and damage resistance at high speeds since at that speed the water surface would be like a semi-solid. A final further advancement over that training would be to get accupuncture books from Doctor Tofu , some scraps of cloth with thread, some stuffing, some crayons and Kasumi's help to make some dolls with the accupuncture points on them. Have a bowl of toothpicks that have one end sharpened and color coded and a single pachinko ball, with the doll placed next to the trainee. Toss up the pachinko ball and before the ball hits the ground, stick the toothpicks into all the desired points in the doll in the desired order matching the points with the correct toothpick. After that training is done, toss the doll up and do the same thing before the doll hits the ground. At this point the speed should be able to exceed the speed of sound, which opens up the idea of using the possible shock waves as attacks and defenses themselves like Tatewaki's distance attacks with his bokken. Similar speed training might be done for the legs by kicking the toothpicks and ball bearings into a reinforced fence corner before they hit the ground.

This fanfic is really great, I have the Ranma 1/2 series and you did a great job with this! I also like the fact that you apparently spell check and read over your work, I can't stand stories where the author obviously didn't go over what he/she wrote. So, good job, and update!!!

The whole thing is great, but to be honest, the F7 key in Word is your best friend when you write any papers, documents, or whatever. Also, I love the fact you follow the manga perfectly, while merging Shinji's place in the rewrite. All in all, I hope you finish this wonderful story and can't wait for you to add another chapter!
