::does little happy dance:: I adore your other fics, especially 'Lover's Phoenix', so I couldn't wait to read this fic. And it's such a good begining.
'Gone' has such a tantalising start. You've absolutely got me hooked, and it's going to be a HP crossover??? ::faints with pleasure:: If you're writing it, it's guaranteed to be excellent. (And Yaoi/Slash? Woohoo!! Although Y/Y is nice, I must admit to having a weakness for seeing Harry/Yugi, even if it's only for a little while, before one, or both of them move on.)
I can't wait to see what's going to happen to Yugi. Is he going to be getting a job? Going to college? So many yummy possibilities.
Oh, and the whole, 'Yugi was a punk' thing, wonderful! I always knew Yugi had more to him. And I could just see him using that innocent face to hide a cunning and aggressive nature. After all, his passion for Dueling has to come from somewhere? Ne?
You seem to have been able to balance the innocence/naivete versus knowledge/capability issue. You've already shown Yugi pre-planning everything, from getting a job for the extra income, to pre-arranging a home for himself on the other side of the ocean. With most fics, one thing which has always peeved me has been when Yugi is shown to be dumb. You on the other hand, have a knack of writing him perfectly. Even when you mix up his sex in 'Lover's Phoenix'. (::huggles LP:: lovely, lovely fic btw)
Regardless of what you do, your stories are written so in character.
