Don't worry about Luffy's in-characterness. You're doing a great job so far. It's nice to see him portrayed as more than just an idiot. After all, in the series he can be very insightful, especially when you least expect it. He's also carefree and open to new experiences, with his lust for life. Good job on Nami too. The Arlong saga gets used a lot for romance fics of various pairings, obviously because many emotions were brought into play during the whole thing. I like how you've written her so far. Overall, good job! I look forward to the next part.

Well I read the one piece manga and some of the refrences confuse me since Luffy just beat Buggy the clown but i can already see a Luffy Nami get together and this is a good and intresting start to that I can also say that so far you have kept them perfectly IC thou i think luffy might have reacted more if not the same way as nami thought he would but pls update soon im engoying this.
