Hmm.. chapter eighteen… I've been meaning to review this since the chapter one came out, so as you see.. I'm kinda slow with these. ><
But on to the review. First I was quite apprehensive when I saw the pairings Radditz/Vegeta and Chichi/OC in the warnings. Personally I have never been fond of the R/V pairing much and I'm not so interested in reading fics where the pairing is mentioned. A bad case of Goku/Vegeta as OTP, I presume. But... even though I don't enjoy the pairing, in this one it didn't bother me like it usually does. Somehow it was.. just fitting. Kami knows Vegeta sure needed some comfort in his years serving Frieza. *cuddles the poor baby* And Rezu... I don't particularly care for OCs, and there's very few which I can say I like (mostly I'm just greatly annoyed with them), but Rezu can definitely be counted as one of those few. I also liked how you have portrayed Chichi. As she is usually "the bitch" of the story, it's refreshing to see how you have written her in this fic and I actually like her quite a bit. ^^ Not to mention the yuri scene which was very well done. Goku and Vegeta. Well.. Where should I begin... I absolutely adore them both here and how you have characterized them. In my opinion your Goku is one of the most IC ones I've read thus far, and I enjoy every minute when we're allowed to read the story from his point of view. The interaction with him and Vegeta is beautifully done and I absolutely adore all of your G/V scenes -- both the lemony and the not so lemony ones. ^^ And Vegeta… there's just so much need and longing and pain... Oh, I have no words to say how adore this. You can write so much feeling in to your work, and that's the most important quality in a story for me. This fic makes me melt and smile and feel for the characters so much. I can say without doubt that this has definitely earned a place among my favourite fics. ^^ I couldn't help noticing the part in chapter one where Goku said that he was close to a new power level. Since this is after the Buu saga... it's level four? *lets out a fan-girlish squeak and keels over* Will we see him go level four? And will we see how Vegeta reacts to his new form? Keep up the good work and hurry up with the next chapter! I can't wait to read it.

Why aren't you getting more reviews for this story? It deserves a lot more than this... I guess I can add myself up to the list of lurkers who don't review. I been following this up at the Yaoi hotel... where I think I've only left feedback for one of the chapters... gomen I will try to be more consistent... you sure deserve it. Keep up the great work!!!

I adore this story! I look for an update just about every other day. And if there isn't one, well I just reread it, if I feel like it. I thought it was just great how the boys brought Vegeta out of his shell a bit and made him interact with them. It was a good thing in this case, although most times it's annoying.

Alright! Some water action! I love shower sex scenes...hell water anything sex scenes! ^_^ Hm, Vegeta's got a trust issue. And I'm pretty sure that the whispers aren't going to stop. Zarbon, Jeice, Frieza...anyone else on the non-consentual sex list? lol Goku passed one test...but how many others are there? Hmmm.... Does Vegeta know about the others that Goku had the Otherworld? I forget.... Well, hopefully that doesn't affect him.... Be interesting if one of those guys came around, eh? ^_~

Very good chapter. Not enough Vegeta, but then again, I'll almost always say that if Vegeta is unconscious/dead/etc. lol Hm, glad I looked that up then.... Now you can explain it in a college level class. lol ^_~ Can't wait to see more! And the lemon next chapter? Wow! Already? Hm, suppose it is about the time. The nipple-play was nice, but I want more! lol Till next time!

the story is great but i found just small misspelling and some grammar but i'm not one to talk because i do the same. from the one's i have rade this one is very good to read and not have to warey about if i'm reading a ward or a senctens right or not. i enjoy read and i'm wondering what happens to v/g but also about the other friends too. does the two lover boys get together or not and is there something happening with P/D? i would like to see this stoury end the way it should. PLEASE FINSH IT!!!!!!!!!

I have been following this fic from saiyanjin secrets and I just wanted to tell you that everyday when I check my e-mail I look for the next Maintaining chapter, I'm so into this fic that I had to super glue my backside to the chair in order to stay in my seat. I have it. I got it from Grokster. It's also located on Kazaa, but I know of no place online to get it. Sorry. Ah, I'd forgotten about that. He put his trust in Zarbon and Zarbon used it against him, almost crippling him.... Radditz was Vegeta's first, so it wasn't that. Short. Whatever Zarbon did stunted his growth.... O.O *looks it up* Malnutrition...no. Interleukin-6...no. Drugs...no. Hm, "The Causes of Psychogenic Dwarfism"...that's interesting. Okay, obviously in this case, psychogenic dwarfism is caused by extreme trauma and stress. I'd say Vegeta was going through that.... "Psychogenic dwarfism is a growth disorder that is observed between the ages of 2 and 15, caused by extreme emotional deprivation. The symptoms include decreased growth hormone (GH) secretion, very short stature, weight that is inappropriate for the height, and immature skeletal age. This disease is a progressive one, and as long as the child is left in the stressing environment, his or her cognitive and linear abilities continue to degenerate (3)." Hm, I'd say Vegeta has psychogenic dwarfism. ^_^ Boy, that was easy. But--I still don't know what he did or how Vegeta put 'his trust' in him. Hm...Perhaps next chapter, neh? Hm, I do remember a certain manga in which Zarbon had Vegeta restrained and clipped off his tail in the middle of a transformation, but I doubt that's it. It could be though.... Poor Veegee! He has a fever? How come? I mean, he states that Saiyans are impervious to disease.... It wouldn't happen to be the psychogenic dwarfism (I love writing that) kicking in would it? It says he'll continue to degenerate.... Which would lead to a lose of coherence--aka madness, which is what you hint at in the summary. Well, I'm sure Kakarott will take care of it. What worried me know is how he responded--wait a minute.... He repsonded to Piccolo's giving of energy by blacking out. And he constantly blacked out when with Frieza--after the Zarbon incident. Are these related? Hm.... I may be just thinking too much.

This is a great fic about Vegeta and Goku. I don't really read DBZ stories but this is one of the best ones i've read. Can't wait to see what the lemon's gonna be like. update soon!
