This is one of the most engaging stories I've ever read! It's wonderfully origional, beautifully crafted, poignant, touching, and insightflu (not to mention full of lemony goodness ^_^) You are an amazingly talented writer. I can't wait for your next piece. I only have two complaints. One is that no one (not even Inu) made a big deal about her being gone for 5 years. Everyone kinda acted like it didn't happen, and even when they talked about it IY just shrugged it off. If you ever decide to revise this story my only advice would be to draw out the tension about that fact, and maybe give more depth to the agony of being separated. And two is that you basically dropped Shippo. I'd really like to know what happened to him. Did he find a pack? Did they accept him? Did he ever learn about Kagome's return? Did he ever rejoin IY+Kag? I suppose that's all. Keep up the amazing writing!

*bawls hysterically* So sweeeeeeeet! *snots on Fluffy's fluffy* LOL This fic...is just beautiful. I was literally *sobbing* when Kagome was reading from InuYasha's jii-chan's journal. I swear to God, it was just...heart breaking. Truly heart breaking. Meanwhile, thank you *so* much for the lemons. Rargh. I need me a hanyou...or youkai. *eyes Fluffy who backs away nerviously* mehehehehe... I'm sorry this review is so short and...well...pretty much just my ramblings, I'm like half asleep...but I couldn't not review right now...this fic is...beautiful. I hope to see more work from you! Overall this was a very enjoyable and interesting fiction to read. You had very good characterization. However, there are some historical inaccuracies at the end of the last chapter. While they don't impact the plot of the story, I still want to mention them. First off, Tokyo will not be called that until the Meiji Restoration in the 1860's. Prior to that it was called Edo. Also, Japan was unified through the conquests of Oda Nobunaga and then Toyotomi Hideyoshi. Then Tokugawa Ieyasu beat Toyotomi Hideyoshi son and established the Tokugawa shogunate with Edo as its administrative center. Kyoto remained the location of the Imperial COurt until it moved to Tokyo at the start of the Meiji era.

This story is AMAZING! Seriously one of the best I've ever read (and I've read alot!) I love the long chapters, the details, the way you develop the characters and stay more or less true to their personalities, but I can't wait for the next Chapter! Love it Love it Love it!
