This is an excellent fic! I love it, especially the last two chapters, very nice and sweet and satisfying!! I was afraid that it might be one of those frustrating love triangle stories, so I held off until the happy ending to read the whole thing. It's good Sesshomaru only thought about it but never did anything. He smiles a little more in the last chapter, which is very nice. You write Sesshomaru so well, very true to his character! Great story!

GREAT angst. At the beginning, I'd thought it was another Sesshoumaru leaves Rin behind in a human village, in particular IY's, but the angst makes the fic stand out on its own. The gifts from Sesshoumaru, the gifts from Jaken, Rin's impulsive decision to become a demon a la Onigumo were all quite memorable. And I LOVE her farewell with Sesshoumaru in chapter 8. That was *beautiful* angst. Rin-chan has really grown up now! *blows nose on hanky* Hmmm... Personally I would like to see Rin try to live a live on her own, what with the subject being brought up rather often.
