I forgot to add that the prologue that you uploaded isn't the prologue. It shows chapter 18 instead.

This is such an awesome story. It is unarguably the best Noir fic that I've read so far. The only thing that I've noticed is that I think your Breffort was actually named in the series. The man with the golden cane in the series was called Remi Graipaul. The description you have of Breffort, with the cane and the limp and Mireille's visit to his office all seem to be describing Graipaul. I just thought you should know. I didn't even make the connection until halfway into the story. It kind of threw me off in the beginning because I thought Breffort was an original character. It makes so much more sense to know that it was Graipaul. Anyway, great job on the story!

Arrrrgh!!! The way you gave thickness to all these characters is just... woah! I particularly liked how you protrayed Ryosuke. And the gory scenes, just perfect in their crude poetry (I myself find extremely taxing having to write the long descriptions such scenes entail to). And now I just can't wait to read the suite. -sighs- I've the bad feeling the wait's gonna be long though... Oh well, maybe I will be able to do something else than read your fics for a change...

I'm really enjoying this fic. Noir is one of my Favorite anime series and your take on what happens after the series is really cool. I also enjoyed your sailore moon fic Absence too. Keep writing.
