This was an excellent follow-up to "A Father Again" and I made the mistake of reading this during working hours. When Bra walked into her parent's bedroom after their indulgent "quickie" I burst out laughing and heads were popping out of cubicles all over the office. BUSTED! Thanks for the great story... on to the next one....

Comment/Review: This story was the cutest! Very well written and a spot-on chracterization of Bra! You must have kids to pin down the toddler attitude so perfectly! ^_~ Even though I'm kinds burned out on B/V these days, I still love to find a good fic about Vegeta trying to deal with his kids! To be two years old and have the power to bend the Prince of All Saiyans like a spoon... now that's power. lol Great job! I really liked it, and I'm so glad I found it! ^_^

It's absolutely amazing how you manage to give him feelings and sensitivity without compromising that trademark brashness that's such an integral part of his character. It's also really nice to read the "happily ever after" part of Bulma and Veggie's relationship as just that… happy. All the post Buu fics I've read up to this point placed them on some sensationalised rollercoaster trip from hell with Bulma having affairs or Vegeta trying to break free of the "bonds" of a normal life and I just found those tiring. You're stories on the other hand are sweet in a down to earth way and a truly terrific read ^_^ Please keep writing! I'd LOVE to see more of you're stuff.

Reviewed By: MelizaMac [MediaMiner Member] On: May 24, 2004 18:38 PDT Comment/Review: This is absolutely precious, Deb! Vegeta sounds so much like the typical father that's stuck babysitting the kids. (Bill Cosby has some great 'tales' about the situation as well.) I love how you played out his experience. He isn't really comfortable with the situation, but he'll do whatever it takes to appease 'the brat' even though deep down he loves her immensely. Getting her to watch the 'fighting mens' movie with him was a hoot! The quickie - been there, done that, got the T-shirt! You did such a cute job of describing what Vegeta wanted to do and why he didn't (like the 'no fireballs in bed' rule!) Little Bra's announcement as she walked into the room was exactly what a toddler would say, and with just as much gusto. And how sweet for the three of them to end up watching another movie (there's no way I'm going to admit to having watched it years ago.) The tender moments between Vegeta and Bulma were even more special because they had to be discrete around their daughter. And you gotta love the man that imagines kissing his mate and brat, then thinking that one day, maybe he'll do more than just imagine it. I could gush on and on, but I should probably do a bit of writing... I love this fic!

It was so powerful and intense in places, with images held and seen through a relaxed and content Vegeta. It's something so rarely explored, but which you managed to not only capture wonderfully, but explain and narrate in a way that was real and recognisable as being a part of Vegeta's personality. I loved the part where he kissed Bulma's hand, I actually sighed out loud when I read it. Beautiful Visuals! *hugs* Lynn

Reviewed By: butterflyV On: May 22, 2004 02:03 PDT Comment/Review: I liked it, you should do more one-shots like this and still have them include all the members of Vegeta's family in different settings. you should do a continuation to this.
