I think I understand, excellent chapter by the way. If I am reading this correctly, btw everyine don't read any further, plot speculation coming up. I think the person he went to was Kagome and the pain was her love for him. The other who shot the arrow was Kikyo, she aimed for him but Kagome took it for him. Sound right? Excellent chapter. Enjoying how Inuyasha has now been 'accepted' by the villagers, even if he is getting abused a little by Sango. Kaede's insight into Kikyo was an interesting take on thing, one I have not seen before and in many ways seemed to fit rather nicely. Great story so far!! Interesting--wonder if Kag's power fluctuations have to do with Inu and his feelings he won't admit to?? and Inu's out-of-control problem as well?? Hope those two FINALLY get their act together and bring things out into the open ^_^ update soon!!

I thik it worked well. The two of them in some ways seem more like borthers than simply friends or at least more than Inuyasha and Sesshomaru are. Enjoyed the chapter and how it played out. Good luck & best wishes, Hououza

I'm sorry to say that I'm having problems putting up chapters. I'v written the third chapter, and added it, but it won't show on the chapter selection thingy... If you want, you can e-mail me and request the chapter. You have to write "Waking Powers" as the "subject" or I won't open the mail. I'm sorry for the problem, and I hope it will be fixed soon.
