Oooooh, I liked this. A lot. Vegeta as vulnerable yet still distant and sort of cruel. Not treacly and romantic but hot--yet still intimate.

not bad for hetsex. what i find interesting is that in all your stories so far, you "announce" an interest in vegeta, yet your emphasis seems to be on bulma. not a negative thing, just interesting. well written as usual. i really like the ending. the resignation to reality. the reality that anyone who has ever loved her in any way DIES!!!!!

This is easily the best B/V fic I've seen all year. Best of all you wrote Vegeta 100% in character and that's pretty hard to do judging from some other stuff I've read. It was very touching without being "mushy" and there are so few fics that manage to achieve that. Great job!
