Finally, SOMEONE attempts to explain Kenshin's abnormally colored hair and Kaoru's beautiful but abnormally colored eyes. ^^ Kind of an AU fic, kind of a historical fic... Me like. Very much. ^^ This Kenshin is much more similar to the OVA Kenshin, rather than the manga/anime Kenshin. I like the change, and I like Kaoru's character a lot too. Do continue!

I reaaly liked this even though it felt like I was sitting through a history lesson for most of it. I DO understand the need for background though, and therefore understand why there is so much of it. Besides, it really breathes life into the story, helping flesh it out. I like the direction this is moving and can't wait to read more!

PLEASE update! You've reeled me in from the beginning and I demand that you finish what you have begun. Well I don't really demand it but it would be nice of you to update. It's been at least 3-4 months. Don't let this TERRIFIC story die like those other annoying ones left unfinished.

wow that was just simply amazing!!! all the thought that went into the german names and the history of japan and stufff, geez this fic is really impressive!!! i especially enjoyed the character developement, i like how you managed to change the storyline but still keep the same personalities and overall feel to the characters!!! thats a very difficult thing to do and kudos to you for doing better than anyone i know could have doneit!!! i sure u kno wats coming next PLEEZE UPDATE SOONER THAN POSSIBLE!!!!
