i admit it: i cried. you have crafted a fine story and you should be proud. you painted a lovely world for these characters and made them real for me. Rin was probably wearing purple when she died, because you gave her a great life. be proud and be happy of your completed work, because it deserves more praise than these reviews can hold.

I've never seen Sesshomaru portrayed in such a different light. Everyone always assumes he has a palace. Everyone always assumes he's well-respected among his demon peers. Everyone thinks he's this real "ladykiller" that has to beat women off with a stick. Nobody ever thinks he's homeless. Nobody ever thinks that he's a disgrace to his family's line, and I've certainly never read a fic where Sess is a "blushing version" and Rin is the one with all the experience. But you make it all believable. Your writing is so detailed that there isn't room for doubt in the reader's mind. I did get a little confused at times about what was going on when, but eventually I caught on, and it didn't feel as if I'd sat down and read 86 pages, at all. So kudos! And congrats on the Fanfiction victory.

I was happy to have been able to read some of your work that's as recent as this one and once again you didn't disappoint. I don't know what's greater than saying you rock...maybe that you're awesome or just wonderful. I hope one day you write a fic Sango/Sesshomaru. That should be interesting.

i'm glad that jaken was able to have some fun!! but this was a nice chapter. i wonder how this birthday is going to be special, but i don't know because the chapter title is kinda foreboding. (I think i used that 50 cent word correctly...hehe) well i loved this chapter...even though they don't have a husband/wife or mate relationship she's still happy and that is all that matters...i hope sess is happy too with everything...but i guess i'll see. can't wait for the last one!!

Just pasting here my review from ff.net... Jeez, I really have to practive my English... Hi! o/ That's really sad... I do love happy endings, but if a good story (as all yours!) got a depressed ending, we've to learn sth good for our lives, right? ^_^I read Wuthering Heights in Portuguese (it's called here O Morro dos Ventos Uivantes here o/) and I feel the same as you. ^_^ Poor Rin and Sesshy... I do love this couple, but I think, as I said before, that we will learn sth in the end. ^_^ By the way, great chapter! ^_^ I will wait for the next one! You you say that will surprise us... Grr! One more chapter! Well, at least I got to read another wonderful Sess/Rin!! :) Funny, not having a happy ending doesn't seem to faze me, I guess I read too many fanfics like "Of Sin and Consequence". Happy ending or no happy ending, it's a Sess/Rin! There aren't enough of 'em! Sango was awfully harsh, I wanted to slap her myself! >:) The conniving bastards! Well, I guess I'm in for another wait... -sigh- Once this is over I have no fanfics to look foreward to but "A House Divided", which I am seriously looking foreward too! Well, I'll review next time!!! Sayonara!
