I'm still in tears over the last part of this chapter. Poor Yukio! I always thought that he was short-changed in The Lucky Ones (which of course is a brilliant story) - the depth of his pain over the loss of his mate was only spoken of, but never explored. I'm glad that it will be explored now. Your writing is lovely - I look forward to the next chapter.

Well, early on, you've got me hoping that Temeh will come back, and that the little fuzzy-eared cutie will get to stay with his mom, who wants him. So unless Temeh turns out to be 100% unresponsible, I've got my fingers crossed for that. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ "b-line" should be "beeline." It refers to bees traveling in a straight line. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ I'd love to know more about what Ian looks like. White hair? What color are his eyes? ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ What a ride coming up. Plenty of questions. The first part of this story makes things look like they're going to be too easy, but by the end of chapter one, I have enough questions to keep me going. Hee hee! I can't wait to see Ian cause trouble in the southwest! ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ I would love to know more about what research you're doing on this one.

whoo hoo! another story. this is great. i just have to wonder at all the possibilities of where you're going with this story. will this be just a side note of a couple chapters or will this be another epic of the lucky ones scale? i am excited though that you're getting into youkai and hanyou in the modern world and how things are done to intermingle the two cultures. whoo hoo for you.

Everyone needs a break from reality once and awhile and your story The Lucky Ones has given me that break from the day I read the first chapter. I am very excited to read this new story and see a continuation for your writing style for a whole new group of readers to enjoy. I am a little surprised that you made a continuation so soon, for most writers wait a decent amount of time before they restart, in attempt to make the sequel an even bigger deal that it is. I am also surprised at how well it is written. I have seen sequels that have gone to shame because the writers head has swollen with popularity and no longer puts as much effort into their new work. From reading the first chapter I see no indications that we will be dealing with those problems with you.
