Well... this story is really good! It's sad that Sango keeps having miscarrages... don't think I spelt that right... oh well. I can't wait for an update!

Granted, I'm sure it won't be all that straight forward... Hisa sucks out souls, what could she do to a harmless child? Or to a delicious, cold, seemingly passionless inu youkia...hmmm... InuYasha, you baka. If he can smell that this 'evil force' was born there, why the hell would he go touch it and sniff it at closer range?? Are we sure he's not being possesed by some neko-spirit? Leave the curiousity to the cats. That powder again, eh? What exactly did it do to Oro? Ya know, the problem with powder is that it's tiny and can stick everywhere... Tears Sueric, tears over Sango's garden in the future. Just so you're aware... tears. If anyone has a problem with Kagome being a surrogate after the way she reached such a difficult decision... well, they're just heartless. Beautiful as ever Sueric... I can't wait to see what kind of explosion will go on when InuYasha returns to Kagome. And when will Hisa rear her lovely, yet evil little head again?

Did Kagome just decide to be Sango and Miroku's surrogate or what? Dear gods...but if she can't take them through the well...eeeekkk! Please please, let there be another option, because as good a person that Kagome is i just can't see her giving it up (hyman intact or not, she's still a virgin) to Miroku for a good cause. *sweat drop* But I faith in you...I know you'll think of another way.

Great addition to the plot once again. It makes me sad, though, when Inuyasha is apart from Kagome for a long time, but it was really cute how you brought Kagome's thought to him to try and connect the two. I liked the order you did it in as well, with him thinking it first. Do they have some sort of telepathy thing going on, really? Anyway, great update. Keep it coming!~I.I.C.M.I.I.W. P.S. Is there going to be a kiss anytime soon, because I remember waiting for it with bated breath in Chronicles? Thanks! ~J.

LOL That'll be an interesting chapter. I don't remember, but did you ever explain how Hisadaicho was born? Or how her army of zombies or whatever they are were born? Because when you described the cave and the cacoons, it reminded me of Aliens and how those things just opened up. *shudder* Blah, I hate that movie. LOL

It's so well thought out, even if you haven't plotted it, it seems to be. Every detail of Kagome's dilemma entices me to read more, and at the same time makes me want to stop. Since for some reason I can't bare the thought of Kagome going through with this. I can't wait to see how this will work out. Poor Sango and miroku I wonder how they will deal with this. it seems to me that they wouldn't want Kagome to do it, but that brings you back to the whole 'mommy' and 'mother' deal. Which leads me to my question. Sango keeps saying that she wants to have a baby, and wants to everything 'herself' so maybe if you look at it, will Sango be able to see the baby as hers even with the 'mommy' and 'mother' thing in mind? For some reason I can't see her being able to except that ot Kagome for that matter being able to watch the child grow in Sango and Miroku arms knowing that it is technicolly hers and Miroku *shudders* Anyway, i can't wait for you to clear this up for me in the amazing twist of your writting. i kind of just had to get the idea's building in my head out of it so tahts why I write the question under full knowledge that most likely I won't get the straight answer I want. Please keep up the fasinating writing!

It made a connection for Kagome and helped her make her decision. I knew she would. I love how her mother quietly supports Kagome. It shows a lot of trust. ----It's still InuYasha that's going to be the wrench in the works. I don't think his response will change Kagome's mind and I'm not sure how long it will take him to get over the initial shock of it and understand why. He's in for some heavy thinking and soul searching. I hope he doesn't take too long to figure it out, but I have faith in his sense of right and wrong and in how much all his friends mean to him (even if he isn't ready to admit it) that he will eventually come around. Great chapter.

My Dad adopted me when I was five. He proposed to my Mother and then came home and spoke with my brother and I and asked if we wanted him to be our father because he wanted us to be a family. It is funny because I look like my Dad and have a lot of his traits - people are really surprised if/when they find out he adopted me. When I got older and started to think about it I really was in awe of what he did - my mother was a house wife throughout my childhood so he basically took on three dependants that day. I said as much to him one time and he assured me that he got the better end of the deal. Yes ... there is much more to being a parent then donating sperm/eggs.

I think it's good. Also good that she realizes that it would be her body and her egg, but not her baby. Will make the process a little easier. Now if only she can tell Inuyasha what she's gonna do. So question that weird powder he touched it's not the same powder that Hid...forgot how to spell her name, anyway it's not the same power that she used on the Oro,is it? Cause i get the feeling that it's not some body powder. And she better not go after Rin or Sesshomaru is gonna kick her butt. Playing with fire that woman is.

I'm curious to see what happens next, very curious... Since Kagome said that she would go through with it, and Inuyasha's not coming back for at least a month and it's only been ten days. I wonder what he'll say when he comes back to find Kagome pregnate? I know she wouldn't be that far along to actually tell, but I mean wouldn't he be able to smell it? That's considering, though, if she were to ask them about it before he returns... Such a great story you have going on here! I like it so much so that I'm going to read your other too... though it will take some times, dang don't you like to write such long stories! It'll probably take a couple of days, but I get it done! They'd be great to read on one of the days that I can't sleep... I just had one of those nights a couple days ago... up three days with only two hours of sleep... I hate when that happens, but I don't trust medicenes that are meant to help you sleep... anyways great fic, hope you have a wonderful day and I shall keep you in my prayers ~Zonza

Children are a miracle, they really are, and for Sango and Miroku to be denied that by conventional means is nearly horrifying, and definitely heartwrenching for all those close to them. Though I am not a mother, I do feel very strongly about surrogacy and adoption: children are beautiful. Thank for dealing with this subject in a thoughtful way. I loved Purity, and Chronicles and choked tears down all the way through Torrent. The Guardian and Spring Rain were beautiful, but Metamorphasis, just because of its sensitive, yet thoughtful, issues and the themes of the beauty of strong frienship, is already a favorite of mine. You've done well, and after reading your fics, I know I can trust you to deal with controversial and sensitive issues in a thoughtful and wonderful manner. Rock on, girl, and don't let naysayers get you down. Cheers,Kellen

I think surrogacy is a beautiful thing and someone who's willing to do it must understand what the consequences would be. Don't worry about them and just keep your ideas flowing through this story. I still love it. And you answered my question, too, about being a virgin and stuff, which I appreciate, thank you very much! I may have taken Bioethics and learned about all of this, but that was almost 5 years ago. LOL I seriously thought InuYasha would make a move. Eh, he touched her face. I guess that's a start for him at least. LOL

I hate to say this but in a lot of cases my mother in law is my 'mommy' and my real mommy is my 'mother' so in a way i know the difference. i also have looked into being a surragante mother for a friend of mine but opted not to do it. (said friend adopted and is very happy along with husband) As much as i think it would be great to Kagome's character to do this for Sango and Miroku I can't help but see a bad outcome. Namely for InuYasha, the poor tough guy is just to sensative around Kagome. (poor baby fighting his emotions) But i think no matter what you do you'll find away for that innocent (i use that term lightly) dog-boy to live through it and still get Kagome. By the way I can't wait for the Sexxshomaru (pardon spelling) to show up! Personallily I prefeer to call him fluff butt (a little harsh but funny) i hope your story lives up to all your other ones (really i already know it will) please keep up the good work! Kagome Yarbrough AKA before you ask that is my real name ^_^ to be born before the anime series and somehow end up with the characters name...I am the one and only! GOOD LUCK
