whoa....had to do some explaining this chapter, huh? Not fun for our favorite couple, that convo could NEVER come easily. "Mom...Toga is a dog...not just ANY dog...a really big black one! I don't care what anyone thinks, i'm still marrying him!" I can just see the dumbfounded looks on all their faces. I wonder how long it might take for her family to adjust to the situation.... I know it won't be an easy one. Keep up the wonderful work, woman!!!

Woo hoo! I'm finally catching up to the current stories! Yea! I just read this entire story (to date) in one sitting, 'cause it was too fabulous to stop. I loooooooooooooooooooooove Toga!!!! And Sierra is a fabulous counterpart for him (I did guess her heritage, though - the "Coral" hint was just too good, usually I have NO clue what you're planning! LOL). As always, your talent for weaving a tale of love, angst, passion, duty, friendship, humor, and the ties that bind, just leaves me breathless. I was so incredibly pissed off at Sexxhoumaru for what he was doing to his son - I'm glad that he finally came around (even if he did have to get pounded on by the rest of his family to do it ::grin::). I still don't quite get why he was so insistent that Toga marry a youkai. Is it just the pure bloodline issue or something else? And why do I have this nagging feeling that there's still something else in Sierra's heritage/history that we don't know? Anyhew...I'm loving this story so much and can't wait to see what happens next!

Poor Toga... Fluffy just has to have his revenge. I do wonder about one thing though, how will they explain to Sierra's family why she isn't aging? It seems to me that walking up to them and telling the whole truth and nothing but the truth could cause some problems, but at the same time, I can't imagine Sierra deliberately lying to her mother...

hehehehe. This was a giggly chapter indeed! Loved the unlimited platinum card at the end. I want one!!! Especially if it's being paid by someone else. In a perfect life, that would be true. Hmm, I liked the term demon-in-laws, that was cute, haha. And double hmm, where exactly will Toga and Sieraa decide to reside? Im guessing that they will be in Japan due to clues in purity 3? haha. And when exactly does Toga become the Taiyouki? Does Sexxhoumaru have to die first? Or when ever Sesshoumaru gets bored he can step down? haha. Lots of questions. Yey for the pretty journal! Poor Sierra. You know at least Kagome had some kind of...I don't know...Since she grew up in a shrine house, things like demons and magic weren't exactly alien to her (only the concept that they exsisted!). But Sierra...She's a normal, American woman. I can't imagine what she's going to be going through even *after* the marriage!

Ah...doggie-daddy is delaying the wedding because he CAN...that sounds like the arrogant Sesshoumaru all over the place. -- I'm glad that Kagome and Kagura were able to help Sierra understand why youkai have to be able to fight. "Isn't he worth it?" was the perfect question to turn her mind in the right direction. It's all about perspective. It's not that they fight, but the reasons they need to. It's very comforting to know how capable someone is, especially when that someone is the one in whose hands your putting your faith and future into. "Absolutes" are confidence builders in a world of uncertainties. It keeps all the little "worries" at bay. -- *snicker* Siblings and cousins, who aren't intimidated by their charges, are the perfect choices for chaperoning the frustrated couple, (although doing it in the first place on top of making them wait so long is, in my opinion, quite cruel...did Sess pull the wings off of flies when he was young? LOL) -- Great, great GREAT!! You've managed to smooth out the worst of the wrinkles preventing Toga and Sierra from being together, (I would expect no less from such and Author Extraordinare!) Now if we can just get Sess to lighten up...hmm...Milk-bone?

And for Meta - in my opinion it was a great story and I'm sad it is finish - «For every obstacle we encounter on the road, there is something to be learn from it. We might not know what it is then but later in life, we will remember it and say: that was what I had to learn.» At least it's what I've learn so far! ;-) Hope it can help you when flamers seems to be everywhere and there doesn't seems to be enough of us Who really loves your stories and really wants to know where you're going with them 'til the end! InuYasha snorted. "Feh! Yeah, Toga! Your son . . . Toga? Looks like you with black hair and a personality?" (chap 35) LOL! I have caught up but I had to proclaim my amusement at another line. Really great story. I love how very different this plot is. I must say that I am not totally enamored with Sierra ... mainly because I think she is being overly hard on Toga. Don't get me wrong - I am not saying I think she is a bad person ... just that she needs to buck up a bit for her man. However, I have the tendency to not like many of the suitors of my friends because "they are not good enough for them" when in reality no one would be. I am as bad as Fluffy! I think I just really, really like Toga. Don't mind me. I am just one of his new fangirls. *grin* I feel like that guy from the commercial - I can't believe I read the whole thing! I really must go attend to collegiate duties...

Okay, I told you I would show up on one of the purity continuations! I normally don't comment when I am in the middle of the story but I juse feel impelled! First, the "Lucky One" comparisons you were talking about. I too have read both stories and I agree with you that comparing authors is like apples and oranges. Even compairing stories from a single author can be a practice in futility! Take Meta and Purity - even with the similarities I would be at a loss for words to try to compare them! Othere then they are both great stories and have characters with the same names. I have always found it amazing that you right so many stories about Yasha and Kagome with different plots and character development but I always feel like they stay in character even though they are totally different ... I am not sure if that made sense but ... yeah. Anywho, just adding my two cents. The real reason I wanted to comment was because I nearly fell out of my chair laughing with I read "clairvoyant aunt blessed with an overabundance of miko power" (chap 31) ... lol! I don't know why that amuses me but it does! *sigh* I shall continue to read ... You do great work!
