You know, all you can really do is beg and hope. But bribery makes hope more effective! Looks like Ryo has learned this pretty well. The only problem with bribery is that it comes back to bite you, or in this case, claw you. Is Inuyasha going to play with yukitora too? Like he did to Buyo? that would be funny if inuyasha and kagome came to visit and he started messing with the cat after he got board from talking.

Heh. I have to agree with Sesshomaru's final thought. Like father. like son. . . . .It's certainly true in my family. Great chapter as always and I will be looking forward to your updates! Wow, I like this story more than school, and for a nerd like me, that's REALLY hard to believe.

O.o? Is it just me, or does Ryo's youkai voice seem to actually be smarter than Dog-boy Jr. #1? I thought it was supposed to be more primitive, primal. And Ryo is activly arguing with himself...LOL! -- Smelly warfare! I wonder if Nez would continue to assault Ryo's nose if she chooses a stink so strong, he's out of commision from it. We have all seen how quick InuYasha would go down from a particularly putrid stench and it seems that Ryo's olfactory senses are no less as strong, making him just as susceptible. - I hope that Ryo heeds his youkai's prodding and his Uncle Sess' advice...and soon. Full disclosure is staring him in the face and he can't put it off any longer. His reluctance to tell Nez like it is, smacks of cowardice but her safety is now in question. Chin up, Bucko! You can handle a little yelling. Quit stalling and get it over with. Maybe once Nez has the whold picture, it will help her reticence over accepting the reality of their changed relationship. -- God Sue! Your stories are better than Chocolate! *silly grin* And more addictive!

Oh dear, now they're both acting like small children! lol But I have to say, Nez is pretty clever.... I love that the kitten was "scolding" Ryo! Hilarious! I wonder how Nez is going to react to the whole marking thing. Somehow I don't think that is going to go over well...

That was a great chapter, but Sesshoumaru's comment about him not wanting Toga to fight made me think. It's understandable that he wouldn't want his son to fight, but does it also have to do with Sierra and Toga having a baby? That also made me think to a few chapters back when they made their announcement, was Seirra already pregnant or were they just saying that Toga had agreed to try for a baby? (I remember how Sierra said he didn't want to share her or something like that.) My mind works in strange ways sometimes, LoL. Anyway, like I said, that was another great chapter. I love how the kitten 'scolded' Ryo. That was too cute. I just lurve cats!

I almost feel sorry for Ryo. He's sure gonna go through a lot to keep Nezumi. Though, maybe this will convince her that he is actually serious. I know you have said that your writing isn't great, but it you have amazing talent with plots and story development. I always look forward to updates on your stories. I love the Purity continuations too. The characters are really well developed, especially for characters you created. I look forward to your next update, and reading Nez and Ryo bantering again. Man, the spam thing is really irritating.

Too bad the relationship has devolved into punishing each other. Good thing Ryo and Nez are in a fiction and at the hands of a talented and generally merciful writer as these sorts of relationships usually don't end well. It gets too easy for the petty squables to become the focus of the relationship. Thanks for the great chapter.

Nez is in trouble isn't she? I know that she used to practice some sort of martial art, and would be able to defend herself against a human well enough. Maybe seeing believes for her, maybe that would make all the rest of it real.
