Very, VERY nice. You have strong, clean sentences and clear imagery. There is a beautiful poetic quality to your writing, what Hemmingway would call "... a fleeting luminescence." If you have not already read it, I humbly reccommend Joseph Conrad's "Heart of Darkness."
