That was magnificent. People tend to leap towards obvious couples so to give that twist at the end was a very very nice touch.

O.o wow....i thought it was Inu and Kag pairing...never dreamed of Sesshy's mom and Inu Taisho (sp?) very original! and sad...never read anything about her...only that she was youkai...this was such a great story i can't wait to read more by you...oh and the way you stuck a little piece of rin and sesshy in there was well played! SRP

This was absoutly beautifl. I was almost in tears until I realized it wasn't Kagome and Inuyasha in the future. Very poetic. Very sad. Never thought about the story from that point of view. We never learn anything about Sheshy's mother. Original and well done.

I was taken aback when it was Inutaisho and Sesshomaru's mother! I thought it was Rin and Sesshomaru (ask not) at first and it was Sesshomaru who was cheating. Who had the midnight black hair though? It confused me, but was good.

Whoa...O.o. That is offically the best story featuring Sesshoumaru I have ever read. The idea is so unique and the writing, especilly the emotions, is so poignat. I love the idea of Rin being Sesshoumaru's maother reincarnated. That was simply I mind blowing experience. You have renewed my faith in fanfiction. *Dazzled*

oh my that was so good, i can't believe someone can write something so beautyful, this is the greatest one-shot ive ever read. i love the way you connected Sesshomaru sans mom with little Rin chan, that is the greatest, poor Sessy chan's mom though, i can see why Sessy chan hates Inu chan though if this were really how it went, you could be their creator or not but it is still good, but i rambling now so I'll go, arigato for the story, Zirra

That was such a beautiful story, I wish more were like this. It was so sad. Nobody can really grasp the pain of Sesshoumaru, but you came very close to it. Danni

very good. i thoroughly enjoyed it. so that is why sesshoumaru is so cold to his half-brother. very intriguing and very good. i enjoyed it. and it was also saddening beyond belief. very good authorly skills. i bow down to thee.

I loved your story. I usually, as previous commentors have said, that it is unusual for the protagonist to be Sesshomaru's mother and in some way the antagonist Inu Taisho. I was a great story. I loved how there was angst and sorrow. I also have to give you a *clap* for the excellent detailing on emotions. I can say, in all honesty, that at the end I felt sadness and pity for Sesshomaru and his mother. It does explain, in a way, why Sesshomaru acts cold and have peev for humans. I want to congradulate you on the story. Once again, I loved it. One last comment...the part where you said that the soul would once again find Sesshomaru...well that was simply brilliant! Thanx for a wonderful story!

I can't believe that you haven't received more reviews! I'll admit that I normally don't read stories that aren't Inu-Kag centric. But I started reading and wasn't entirely sure who was speaking at first. Even when I figured out what was going on, I kept reading because your words told such a bittersweet story. The relationship of Inutaisho and his first wife is not one that many people focus on. At least, it's not one that I often think about. You've done a beautiful job portraying the emotions and thoughts of a woman who has been spurned by the man she loves. One can also see the seeds of anti-human sentiment that are planted in Sessh...and it's entirely plausible. A young child sees his beloved mother torn apart by grief...and blames the other woman...will eventually blame the other woman's son for his own loss. Overall, a sensitive portrayal of a sad situation...
