Hey!! I was wondering, since Akane fell into an empty spring and it created The Spring of Drowned Akane---since Kimi--or whatever her name--turned into Akane from getting splashed with the water---that would mean that Akane, technically, HALF-drowned in order for the spring to activate, B/c the springs remember whoever or whatever drowned there and take their forms. So...Shingen said that whatever has fallen into the pools has drowned--therefore DIED and that many creatures were lured there, even water agile creatures, to their death. So, it's impossible for any LIVING thing to have a cursed spring named after them since they had to have drowned and died in the spring. So...how does Akane play into that? By all means...she either should be dead or should not have a cursed spring named after her. But she is LIVING proof of something, rather someone, who fell into a spring. So how is that gonna play out in the story? It SHOULD have some significance.
