Eeek! Sanzo not wearing underneath 'there'!!! Such a 'disturbing' mental image. (Naughty, you!) Shame on Sanzo! Anyway, I was just enjoying the fic with no intention of doing much reviewing but something in your authors note made me write this. Somebody calls you bad name? Guys…whoever reads this…pls bear in mind fan fic writers & readers does not belong to each other & neither owed anybody anything. Nobody forced readers to read & neither writers be forced to write. To say thank you to readers is good, to motivate writers is great but that's it. To say out of jest is okay, to call somebody a name belongs to an animal is downright wrong. Okay, that's that. Anyway I love your story, pls do upload soon.

You wrote an author's note! *proud* Don't worry about typos or anything, I just caught one thing...*The half-breed's head fell back as he screamed in agony. Tear-filled crimson eyes gazed into horrified violet and crimson orbs.* I think you want 'golden orbs' if you're talking about Goku. Anyway, another awesome chapter :)Ignore those people that give you thier bullshit, they really aren't worthy to critique in the first place. Even though I know what's going to happen, you're still holding me in suspense. Geez. Don't worry about not updating very often, you have a career. ;) I have occasional college classes that I usually don't go to, and a job I can't be fired from because I'm the only one who'll do it. Plus I'm a complete insomniac. That's why I update so often. :P I'm crying for Gojyo... Poor kappa. I know it's not going to happen, and I'm not telling you to make it happen, but you can't stop me from fantasizing about some Sanzo x Gojyo on the side. ;)

That was an evil, evil, evil cliffhanger. Well done, just insanely evil of you. ::chuckles:: Nice descriptive piece with Sanzo and Goku scaling the house. Also liked the observation by Sanzo about Gojy and how he probably was as a child dealing with his stepmother's abuse. All in all, an enjoyable chapter.

This story rocks so much. And if it weren't 2 am I'd be singing even more praises to you about how much I think it rocks. There's something to be said about abused Gojyo and dark Hakkai. Those little comfort scenes b/n Gojyo and Sanzo are also quite nice. Yeah, I'm really anxiously waiting for more. Kick ass story telling skills.

I've been reading this from the beginning, just haven't had a chance to sit and comment properly until now. I must say this has become quite a gripping tale. While the whole picture appears to have been painted, there's still details that all the hints and clues have yet to make clear. This is what keeps bringing me back. I do agree with Kiba-chan that ch 7 seems a bit fast-paced, but I can also understand needing to get the ideas down while they're still hot in the mind. Being a h/c fan, I'm greatly enjoying the interaction and concern from Goku and Sanzo towards Gojyo. I'm most curious about Gojyo's aura at this point, and look forward to seeing how it, as well as his tragic past, will come to light.

What a great chapter! Poor Gojyo... god, you're really tearing him apart. Good though, in a literary sense. This chapter seemed to move a little fast to me, maybe not enough description of setting and emotion. After all, with the events in this chapter, you could work in some serious emotional angst as well. But that could just be because I read it too fast... You've got me in such a hurry to know what happens, I can help but rush through it. Might have to go read it again.... :) Anyway, excellent chapter! Tension keeps building... gah. Update soon!

I love the interactions between the characters! Sanzo being a softie and Goku being a big brother caring for Gojyo ;) Update soon!

Oh, I AM happy! I thought you weren't going to post it until you had more chapters, what a treat to find the next chapter up! Poor Gojyo... Hakkai has a lot of nerve to tell Gojyo he's a sinner. I never thought I'd be angry with Hakkai, but poor Gojyo... I love your Gojyo and Goku interaction! So sweet :) I wouldn't mind some more of Sanzo's softer side, either. That kiss was so sweet! I hope Hakkai's being controled by that cloud or something... it's understandable that he'd be upset, but Gojyo needs him... *sniffle* Again, you've left me on the edge of my seat. Damn you. Update soon!

Now this is definitely something worth reading. At first I was kinda feel strange to find words like halisitosis in a saiyuki fic. But then, you spun the story so well that I'm looing forward to read more. Don't stop, update fast, please! And Hakkai is doing the wooing and the loving and having the emotional jumble I used to read describing Gojyo. Okay, I liked that...

Ouch! I have to say I never expected Hakkai to be so cruel, but I think it might have helped if Gojyo had been brave/smart enough to tell him that he'd been what, raped/systematically sexually abused before getting into bed with him. On the other hand your writing is brilliant, and your characterisation seems spot on - as least if it's the manga version, I've never seen the anime.

Wow, I've been looking forward to this since you told me you were planning it... I have to admit I was a little afraid you were going to make me cry again, but so far I'm good. I love your take on Gojyo, and I'm just dying to know about that tattoo... and the woman that pointed at him... very curious. Damn you for leaving us at a cliffhanger like that! I hope you have more planned soon... you can't leave it like this. Poor Gojyo... I really love the way you've managed not only to get a dynamic relationship going between Hakkai and Gojyo, but you've got Sanzo and Goku well developed and involved as well... I absolutely love the brother type relationship Gojyo and Goku have, and you've done that really well. It's easy to forget that Goku's not always a kid. And your Sanzo is fabulous! I love seeing Sanzo's softer side... and him playing matchmaker. *sigh* I hope Sanzo gets some action. I know that's unrealistic but, well, poor Sanzo... I can't wait to see where you go with this. Especially with Hakkai. In my opinion, hes the most mysterious and complex character, and I'm dying to know what he's going to do about this. And I'm still crying inside for poor Gojyo... *impatiently twiddles thumbs* Running out of characters, so here's one last shove to write some more on this! I can't get enough of the Gojyo angst. :) And thank you for posting it! I told you it was a good idea. I was hoping I'd get the first review here, but oh well. That's what I get for savoring the experience.

Fucking amazing. And man, this is s kickass new take on Hakkai. Please please PLEASE continue this fic. I really would love to know what happens next. Thank you for writing this, and all your other fics (your on my fave authors list).
