I don't remember the last time I read a really good fanfic that didn't involve a love interest, and yours was great! Very original idea--I'm almost sorry it was a one-shot, it felt like there was something deeper going on with Kurama, but it's still complete the way it is. Your fairy pulled at my heart, and the whole thing had this tone of despair...it was lovely. Thanks!
