It is rare that I sit down for a FFRG fic and discover a story that has me engaged and interested in the characters from the beginning. Your Akira feels like the Akira I grew to love in the series, thoughtful and awkward, mature and insecure. It is very nice to see it articulated. Your Hikaru was very reminiscent of the time when he lost Sai. I have to wonder though, why he is moving out. I don't know if I missed the reasoning, but it was something that had me curious. The go moves feel real and it shows that you have done some research into the game. You have a very nice start and I look forward to seeing more submissions from you.
