I'm going to share something I learned in college that may assist you in your future chapters. I really great story doesn't need cliffhangers to keep someone turning the pages. Detail descriptions, heart string wrenching emotion and a great plot line will keep people returning chapter after chapter. An occasional cliffhanger is fine, but it's like crying wolf after a while. You have a great idea, run with it! Don't try to bank up as many chapters by leaving us with short chapters with silly cliffhangers. It's going to turn people away from your story rather than turn people onto it. If you have a short story, don't be afraid of the one-shot. They are sometimes the best. Dianara
