A young, exiled sorceress has been permitted to enter her birth town after nearly ten years; Vailla goes to the town of Laces to save her family’s name and honour. At what seems to be a minor task for our magical friend turns out to be a dangerous adventure as her father, who had disowned her at birth, is trying to claim her magic so that he can destroy the ‘Dark Master’ and claim control over worlds. But the only way to claim a sorceress’ magic is to have her killed! With the help of new found friends and her trusty and loyal magical Staff Vailla defends the lives of others as well as her own, so she can reach her final destination where she is sure her father shall be waiting. In the meanwhile she will find the true meaning of love, friendship and hatred...

I had lots of fun writing this story and some of the characters are even based on my friends. Vailla is an iron-willed young girl that often hides her feelings from others. While she acts hard and as though life is one big joke deep down she feels the pain of her past. She is my creation and in some aspects my child (hehe, I’m getting silly now) so I’d like you to respect her feelings and try and understand her actions. She is sometimes cold to the ones she cares about, and at first you may think that she is being nasty but once you understand her reasons she is a one GIANT CUDDLEY BEAR! The others characters of this story have their own personalities and different views on life, just like any other group of friends.
