Penitent is an epic story of a story. It starts out with a meeting; this meeting is to educate all the modern heroes in the world who are able to fight against the atrocities of the world. The modern atrocities are too many to count and suffering is rampant throughout the world. But this is the state of the things. As a character that had witness the rebirth of the worlds she retells the history of the world to these heroes. St. Merriam, the only living angel in the new worlds lived through the rebirth and the shattering of the divides that separated us all from the parallel state it had been. Listen to the story as she recants its happenings from first hand experience. Know it well because it will be the clue to the only salvation these people will ever know.
