Edward and Alphonse return to the city of Lior, to find its occupants obliterated. In an incomprehensible state of remorse, the Elric brothers are vulnerable to the attack of the Homunculus. On the brink of death, the boys are rescued by the military and brought back to their hometown of Rosembool. With Edward's memory faded from the attacks, he is quickly retold of their experiences against the artificial beings. Now the Elric brothers must stop them; and they'll go to any lengths to do so.
