IKag. Not your standard Inuyasha comes of age fic. His demon blood takes over and if Inu isn't accepted as a mate soon, all is lost. He has a choice: become human and end his suffering or wait out the rest of the season in hopes of finding a mate only to die by his father's hand if that mate is never found.

Warning: takes place during the Feudal Era, but I took a new route for how the Inu gang meets. Everyone is still in character, but the plot is my own, and I chose to have Inuyasha's parents live. Also, Kikyou and Kagome are sisters in this fic, but don't let that deter you! I'm sure once you've read the first two chapters you may understand and will hopefully enjoy.
