Koenma sends Yusuke and the others on yet another case, except this time, it involves a mysterious portal that leads humans to the Demon World--only 500 years in the past.
While Yusuke and the others are inspecting a high school that the portal is near, they find two suspicious looking girls. But upon meeting them after they all went through the portal, and finding a half-demon and a village in need of their help, the two different groups work together to help InuYasha get the jewel shards back.
