Aira, an orphaned and foreigned kadeshi girl, is the youngest crewmember of the Vjel-Amaj star cruiser. Soon to fall into a world of terrors and tradegies, it is Aira who suddenly finds herself upon the path of a spiritual journey - but as she enters this path, the Vjel-Amaj and its crew becomes lost within the nebula expanse among conflicting fronts of war.
Among all of the crew, it is Hailynn Delixa who is ordered to keep an eye on the kadeshi girl. Though being a totally distant stranger to the girl at first, the hiigaran woman soon becomes Aira's most trusted and beloved soul throughout these desperate times of survival.
