Set after the battle with Knives. Vash has returned to help his brother "heal" both psychologically and physically. Knives still feels that Vash is oblivious, but has consented to allowing his brother one chance to prove that the humans deserve to live. And even though Vash the Stampede is retired and free to chose his own fate and a certain short insurance girl, it seems that luck has other plans for him, his brother, and the insurance girls.
