Over the span of four months six people have begun to disappear in the mountains around Blackwater City, recently three of the bodies were found, brutally dismembered and apparently mauled by unknown animals. The local police turn to the elite special operations unit ‘Fox-Ops’ to organize a search for the remaining three people.
Leading the mission is the anti-social, dispassionate Captain Kazuki Ferret, a former Seattle Narcotics detective headhunted by Fox-Ops because of his skills in undercover work, acting and firearms expertise, assisting him is his team; Andrew Jenkins; another former Seattle Narcotics detective and longtime friend and partner to Kazuki, Auston Angst; an expert in the Occult and former FBI profiler and also another longtime friend to Kazuki, Grant Neiman; a former NCIS investigator and friend of Kazuki’s, Joey Vantwoshi; a former LAPD SWAT Commander and small arms expert headhunted by Fox-Ops, rookie Rebecca Soho; a communications specialist fresh from the Canadian Military, Adam Parker; a former NSA code breaker and computer wiz-kid, Corey Latsch; a former Secret Service member and expert in VIP protection, Sam Erskin; a helicopter pilot fresh from the Australian Air Force and Scott Romulus; a former GIGN member who’s new to the Fox-Ops team.
They all have a sinking feeling about the prospects of their mission, and in the forests and mountains of Blackwaters’ outskirts there lurks the dark secret truth behind the disappearances, deep inside the mountain is where the Hexagontal Corporation’s mining and geo-logical research and laboratory training center is rumored to be, and with the rather disturbing reports and inquiries that have begun to be brought against Hex Corporation for gross violations of international law and ethical violations against employees; many suspect that the secret facility is for something more sinister then mere mining and research training.
Step off into the field and follow the Foxes as they face down the terror that awaits them, buried deep inside the caverns of the foreboding mountain, but born in the darkest recesses of the human mind.
