A land divided by war. The great war has raged for more than a hundred fifty years between the nation of Isra and the Alliance with no end in sight. In the small country of Phoenicia lives Emily Cower, a young healer who attempts to hide her gifts while trying to assist those in need. Following a great victory the city of Carthage hosts a festival to celebrate the return of their fleet for the first time in many years. During the night of Festival Isra launches a sneak attack, and Emily finds herself thrust head first into war. Emily must now fight for her country, and discover the source of her powers as she is forced on a journey she does not want.
