There once lived a tyrant named Frieza, and he used the Saiyan's to purge planets (and also the humans such as the scientist named Dr. Brief) from earth. The way Frieza captured him on his planet was this: Dr. Brief's wife was pregnant with their first child. Taisa Brief wasn't human; she was a saiyon and the daughter of Bardock. She mated with a human of planet earth, Dr. Gabriel Brief. Dr. Brief was happy to be having a child but worried for his child and his wife's safety. Dr. Brief learned the Saiyon language that Frieza couldn't learn or wouldn't learn, and became friends with a Saiyon named King Vegeta. They talked in Saiyon all the time; they became good friends. Dr. Brief told King Vegeta of his concern about his wife's hard pregnancy and her having her first child.
