In a world that might have been, the Beastlord rules, using his control of the Beasts to keep the people in check. Hidden away in their fortress, the Beasts are kept chained by their oaths, helpless to resist their master-- all of them except for one.
At present, the R rating is just in expectation of things to come. Potential warnings for this fic include: fantasy AU, gratuitous (minor) original characters, angst and character torture, and perhaps eventually a bit of Kyou + Yuki. I am fond of the pairing, but I won't just throw it in for the sake of having it-- we'll have to wait and see where the story goes.
