Life is about to change radically for a pair of rabble-rousers from another reality, faced with a fantastic new world and a new life. What impact will these rough-edged newcomers have on the community at the Xavier Institute for Gifted Youngsters?



NOTES FROM THE AUTHOR:

The R rating is mainly on account of Tetsuo being a serious pottymouth on the order of Final Fantasy 7Õs Cid, so expect at least some seriously explicit language in pretty much every chapter. IÕd rather not get in trouble for it, and I hate censorship, so R rating it is, for all that it matters.

Based in the X-Men: Evolution setting, although the story obviously departs somewhat from the showÕs canon storyline even before the Akira Project part gets involved. IÕm placing the beginning somewhere around the middle of the second season, I think, in between Wild Side and Operation: Rebirth. The Akira Project connections will become nice and clear over the course of the story, bit by bit. Includes a number of original characters: Tetsuo and Kinuko, so far.

Also, IÕm acting on the assumption that in Akira, Kaneda is the characterÕs given name and Shotaro is his family name; and, similarly, that Tetsuo is a member of the Shima family. This may or may not be correct, but IÕve heard it argued both ways, so IÕm going with whatÕs most familiar to me.

To be complete, the story is co-written with the support and concept work of Leah Jensen, who is all-around awesome as a friend and colleague, and thus very much deserving of credit.
