Okay, my first songfic for this series. Kinda long but I had a lot of stuff I wanted to put in, so I did.
It had been a month and a half since they had received the last phone call from the military informing them of Edward’s health. Winry and Alphonse grew more and more concerned with each passing day and Winry found it increasingly difficult to reassure her daughter that ‘Daddy’ was going to be home soon. Even more so now that the little girl was inquiring as to how long ‘soon’ was. The look of disappointment on her face when Winry or Alphonse explained to her that they didn’t know was heart-wrenching. The little girl wanted to see her father oh so badly and it was becoming increasingly difficult to reassure her that she would.
