| Biography: | First off, I'm a veteran of Anime. Started collecting almost 20 years ago. You name it I've probably seen it or even own it. That's not to say I have no life.
In fact I'm a Director of Operations at my company, have a wife and two kids. Regularly roller blade for exercise, head up R & D for my company and two others. Additional to that I enjoy to write (of course, otherwise why would I be here) and I enjoy reading.
Unlike many people I've met, I've also been around the world, one full circumnavigation, plus many country hopping experiences. Before I came to my current opperations I had a hobby of visiting other countries as often as possible. Now I visit them on the job.
On to my Anime experience. As I said before, I've seen almost everything that's come into the states. And as I'm a regular fansub fan I've seen many that will never come to the states.
Over all my favorites have always been the action/romance sagas centering around the luckless hero who's chased after by several love interests.
Onto my fanfiction writing. I'll probably never write anything other than Ranma and Ranma crossovers. The main reason for this is that I've found that Ranma as a character is increadibly versatile and requires little to change to have him adapt to most any environment. That is not true for most other Anime characters. Also please note that I am not a fan of Viz Video and think that they've damaged the Ranma-verse a great deal with the way they don't properly emphasise the characters. I own the entire manga collection of Ranma 1/2 and use it as reference for characters in my fiction.
If you'd like me to I can write fanfics with your (the reader of course) suggestions. I can also modify some of my current works upon suggestion. I am always open to constructive critisism, but shun and dislike any fanfiction lawyers out there. I have my reasons for the way I write, if you don't like it feel free to tell me. But this is a fanfiction, not a cannon rewrite. So if you have a problem with me using a different description of the character or think that they are OOC or even incorrectly used. Then please by all means go back and read the Manga or watch the Anime that I drew from and stop reading fanfiction. The whole purpose of fanfiction is to divert from the main storyline in some way or another. Not to copy and plagerise the original script. |
