Biography: | Name's Sarah, but you can call me Pixie.
I've loved anime since I was a kid. A friend of my father's had given him a tape of Robotech when I was four and that halloween I was Lisa Hayes. ^.^
First manga I ever bought was Rumiko Takahashi's Mermaid Forest and I've loved her stuff ever since. I also love CLAMP. I have two bookshelves bursting with anime. I have dvds, vhs and books and my parents are just waiting for me to slip up and answer my phone in japanese.
I am female, 23 years old and live in Southern California. I was born in New Jersey, lived in Hollywood California most of my life, and recently spent a few years in Canada broadening my horizons. About a year ago I moved back home with my parents to help out because of my mother's breast cancer.
According to my friends I have an East Coast attitude with a West Coast mindset.
I'm a true optimist and a hopeless romantic at heart, but I'm also sardonic and logical and I have little tolerance for stupidity.
I smile 24/7 apparently. When I don't smile I 'look like [I'm] plotting murder.' *grin*
Recently my two ongoing fics were removed by MM.org because I added an A/N which apparently skirted an issue MM.org doesn't like. Now, I'm more than slightly peeved because I made sure to read their posting guidelines before adding the A/N to make sure what I was doing wasn't 'forbidden', but unlike a court where I can play technicalities, MM.org is their site, so there isn't much to do if they decide to play 'Orsen Wells Drunk With Power' on me.
But my writing, and my readers, mean too much to me to walk away just because I disagree.
The good news is that I always saved the chapter files, so I can upload both stories again(minus the questionable A/N). The only truly depressing thing is the loss of the 70+ reviews 'Treading Water' had, and the 80+ reviews 'One Simple Question' had.
Stories current and planned:
'When Push Comes to Shove' - One miko can stay, the other has no place in his life. InuYasha has made his choice. Completed One-shot w/lemon.
'Treading Water' - AU, Canon pairings. Follows Kagome's life, staring in high school, but will continue past graduation and college.
'One Simple Question' - One morning after Kagome goes home Shippou finds InuYasha and asks one simple question that will change everyone's lives forever. Canon pairings, Con't.
D&D AU fic, no working title yet. A story of sorcerers, clerics, elves, gnomes, an abducted queen and princess, and an evil wizard.
Sess/Kag AU piece, no working title yet. Not even sure what the plot will be lol, I just want to see if I can write this pairing in an AU.
Lastly would be this idea. No title yet... 'The jewel is complete, the dark hanyou is gone. But good has not triumphed over evil without heavy losses. Two of the IY gang have died, leaving their shattered comrades to pick up the pieces of their own souls and try to live on. All the while the power and purity of the jewel are calling all manner of demons from all corners of the map. In the face of loss an old enemy becomes a new friend and a decision is made. With the mounting danger showing no signs of slowing or stopping those that survive gather everything dear to them and use the jewel to travel through the well and out of the Sengoku Jidai. It’s a tale of the end, the beginning, and how love refuses to die, seeking to bloom even in the most hostile, anguished soil.' Character death, heavy with angst, romance, and a non-canon pairing. As a writer this story grabbed me just because it is so different from what I usually do.
And that's where I'm at right now! I welcome emails. If you'd like to tell me what you think, ask questions, tell me which story idea you want to see written, whatever! Just make the email subject something I won't see as junkmail.

I wrote that 5 years ago, and now I can't help but blink. Man I talked a LOT. I'm still generally the same person, just more mellow, with more pets and more scars and triumphs. I still welcome contact from readers and writers alike. :) |
