Other pairings are ok if they're not the main pairing of the story. I mostly like cannon and crossover pairings. Don't really like alternate pairings. pairings I absolutely hate are Sesshy/Kagome and Sesshy/Rin, personally if Kags was to be paired up with an IY character it shud be Inu-chan. And Sesshy and Rin have more of a father/daughter type relationship in my eyes. I also can't stand Hiei/Sango. I don't think they'd be able to stand each other. Kurama/Hiei is...OK, if a little overused. There are too many of them out there.
OOCness
Ok, I have to say this. I really hate it when writers bash people they don't like to the point of changing their personality. It's good to have your own opinion on characters and all...but seriously. For example, I know a lot of people hate Kikyo, hell so do I, but she clearly does not act like a slut or bitch, she actually helps others sometimes. Let's face it, everyone has their own agendas, right? I also really hate it when writers make certain characters very stupid and emotional, overreacting to everythink and not thinking things through. For example, say some one find 'thinks' their love is in love with another, they run out of the country and disappear to God knows where. Idiots.
