Biography:	Some Things About Me... My name is Cindy. I love to write and draw - especially anime and &quot;still life&quot; type of art. ;) Writing has always been a strong passion in my life, and I can't see myself giving it up any time soon. I enjoy writing in a number of genres, but mostly for romance/angst, horror, comedy, and mystery &amp; suspense. I like reading what other's have written, since it does tend to make my creative juices running when I'm dry. For art, I tend to sketch more than I paint. Often, though, I would colour in my pictures with pencil crayons, oil pastels, felt markers, or watercolours. Unfortunately, I lack the talent of just painting on a white canvas...I have to draw it in first. ;) I'm still in school and I enjoy it immensely. I love being surrounded by loving friends and learning new things. I'm planning on working in the medical field (hopefully a surgeon) in the future. I guess that it sort of is a &quot;tradition&quot; in my family to become a doctor, pharmacist, or some sort of person that works in the medical department. Everyone in my father's family is some sort of doctor, and my uncle and aunt from my mother's side of the family are both dentists. So...yeah. :P I don't have any pets (which sucks), but I don't blame my parents for not allowing me to own one - not even a fish! I once had a Saimese Fighting Fish, and I loved it dearly! It was red tinted with blue and purple and pink...and its fins would fan open whenever I showed him his reflection. XD Anyways, after a few weeks of having him with me, exams came up and I forgot about him - literally. I forgot to feed him and clean out his tank. So, when exams were finally through (thank God), I realized that he was floating belly-up...'Tis a sad day. Apparently my parents think that if I can't even take care of a fish, then I can't handle any type of animal...except for a baby. I'm baby-sitting my younger siblings almost 24/7... I'm a straight-A student whose planning on going to university and becoming rich! Okay...maybe not the rich part. =) I enjoy reading romantic-comedy, horror, mystery, or young adult novels. Fantasy are okay...but sci-fi I can't really get into. The only sci-fi books that I love are the books by Nancy Farmer! ;3 Some of my other favourite authors are Stephen King (I'm a HUGE fan), Lurlene McDaniel (I like angst T_T) Edward Bloor, and Cornelia Funke. My favourite anime/manga series are InuYasha, FullMetal Alchemist, Naruto, Marmalade Boy, Dragon Ball Z/GT, Case Closed (or Detective Conan),Gundam Seed, Witch Hunter Robin, Ranma 1/2, Wolf's Rain, and Ghost in the Shell. I enjoy other shows as well, but these are probably my top few. ;) Even though I enjoy all these other shows, my stories are mostly based on InuYasha. I guess that I enjoy writing in that story the most. n_n -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Stories/Novels That are Completed or In Progress... Lovesick (fanfiction.net; mm.org) - FINISHED ~ After seeing Kagome and InuYasha together (a little too close together...), Kikyo goes off and wonders if her current relationship to InuYasha is as pure and loving as it was fifty years ago...and if it was even pure back then. Which soon leads her to her feelings towards Kagome. Kikyo comes to surprising conclusions about herself, and realizes that she is now learning a lesson that she had missed in life. (N/A) - IN PROGRESS ~ It seems like that Naraku will finally win. With him the possession of the completed jewel, the InuYasha Tachi has no idea what to do. With Kouga and Kohaku killed for their shards, Kagome and her companions are falling apart. They seem to be distancing from one another...their trust between each other fading away from grief and hopelessness. What can Kagome do to help her friends? How can she show them that with teamwork, things will work out fine? How can she prove to everyone and herself that they need eachother - despite the circumstances - in order to survive when everyone is slowing sinking into depression? Type: Songfic Rated: Teen for language Genres: Angst/Romance -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Learning to Fly (N/A) - IN PROGRESS ~ Kicked out of Heaven until she could prove herself, angel Serendipity must find the son of Satan himself, kill him, ignore the dark and handsome stranger who saved her, NOT fall in love with a mortal, hide her angel identity, and get back in Heaven in time for Judgement Day. Oh, and did I mention that with the new bump on her head, Serendipity forgot about...everything! So, how can Calcifer, the only trustworthy friend that the heavenly being has, help her remember, when he knows nothing himself? Type: Original Rated: R for language, violence, and sexual content. Genres:Angst/Romance/Comedy/Horror/Action&amp;Adventure. Disclaimer: Learning to Fly is a response to SapphireMoon's challenge on Anime Spiral. And so, the characters Damien, Serendipity, Calcifer, and Anthony belong to her.
