I was born on March 9, 1984 in North Texas, but moved to East Texas 2 years ago, then BACK to North Texas in October 2006. ::sigh:: Just thought I could escape... #__#
I have an Associate's Degree in Secondary Education with an emphasis on English and Literature and Sign Language. Eventually, I plan to finish my Bachelor's Degree in English with an emphasis on American Sign Language (and, yes, I'm fluent). The result of my major happens to be that I can be very boring and get really caught up in what I'm reading/discussing. I have no idea what I will do with my degree once I have it. Right now I do nothing except job hunt.
I am married to a guy that indulges all of my fetishes horribly. Don't know why, but I'm glad he does!! XD

Other pairings: Doesn't matter (will read almost anything as long as it's well written). Yaoi, Het, Yuri, etc. I like all kinds!
Book Series: Harry Potter - J.K. Rowling, Wings in the Night - Maggie Shayne, Dark Carpathians - Christine Feehan, Disk World - Terry Pratchett, and many others!
Books: I love reading just about anything an everything, from romance to sci fi. If I tried to list all of my favorite books, we'd be here a very long time. If you want to know if I've read something, ask me. If I haven't... I'll probably go find it and read it so we can discuss it! I am, after all, an English major, so some of my favorite books fall into the category of 'boring stuff your teacher made your read for class'.

All hail the mighty Fullmetal Alchemist!!!
If you're reading this, then you should know by now that I am completely, 100 percent obsessed with Fullmetal Alchemist. Especially anything containing the Roy/Ed pairing. I love anything and everything to do with this series. I spend a good portion of my paycheck (to my husband's dismay) increasing my collection of paraphernalia. (Still trying to convince him about the pillowcases! XD)

I am an adult woman with adult tastes. I like to read and discuss stories/fictions/art/doujins with adult content & ratings. If you are underage, or just don't like talking about things like that, let me know UP FRONT. But, don't be surprised if I use foul language and discuss things that might make some people uncomfortable. I like reading just about everything, but my favorite is yaoi, meaning: slash, shounen ai, gay, male x male romantic involvements, etc. If you want to call me a fangirl, that's fine. I'll probably bounce up and down in excitement. Just remember, you've been warned!
Beta reader for hire...
For anyone who is curious, I am a beta reader. I prefer to stay within the FMA fandom, but exceptions are made (frequently). Mostly I check spelling & grammar, but I can also help with characterization and plot development, especially in FMA. I have several long-term projects that I'm betaing for currently, but if you have a story you want me to look over, let me know! I'm happy to help. I am somewhat of a grammar-Nazi, so if you don't want me to completely bleed all over your story, let me know in advance exactly what you want me to look for.
And, if I beta the first chapter and you decide that you don't want me to help with the rest, I promise you won't hurt my feelings. =)

- OC: Original Character
- Lemon: Detailed sex scene.
- Lime: Contains a fair amount of physical contact, but isn't as well-described as a lemon.
- Citrus: General term for involved touchy-feely scenes.
- WIP: Works-In-Progress; an incomplete, multi-chaptered story.
- Yaoi/Shounen ai: malexmale (gay) relationships. Yaoi is more hardcore.
- Yuri/Shoujo ai: femalexfemale (lesbian) relationships. Yuri is the female equivalent of yaoi.
- Het: malexfemale (hetero-sexual) relationships.
- NamexName: Refers to a romantic and/or sexual relationship between those characters. (i.e., RoyxEd)
