| Biography: | I'm a young Missourian, interested in Indie music and movies. I've been writing for some time, but my real passion is drawing manga and directing short films.
My favorite movies are usually Japanese films, and my favorite director is Hirokazu Kore-eda, but I also love some American films such as Mother Night, Kansas City, and Edward Scissorhands. British movies are nice too, but sometimes the accents give me a headache. I'll watch any movie with subtitles, because I'm more of a visual person than audio.
My favorite musicians are Bjork, Mum, Animal Collective, Squarepusher, Aphex Twin, BOA, The Pillows, Matmos, Noe Venable, Plaid, Anti Pop Consortium, Blonde Redhead, Daft Punk, and Architecture in Helsinki. The only one my friends are aware of is Bjork, and they're all just as obsessed with her as I am, so I guess that's nice.
I have an almost unhealthy reverence for nature, and my dream is to live in an old Japanese house in the middle of the wilderness... as if I were some kind of character from a movie set in the Meiji era. I'd like to have a sword, too. To keel rabbits with. |
