I've lived in pennsylvania (15 minutes from Philly) all of my life. I go to the mountains in PA for rest & relaxation every summer.
I go to GMC one of the top colleges according to us world news report or something like that--for Psychology & Criminal Justice. I will graduate this summer.
I am hoping to apply to Villanova for grad school where I will earn my masters in criminal psychology. I plan to seek employment with the FBI or CIA or the prison system.
I think criminal activity is something learned and changeable. People are products of their environment and the finger-pointing psychologies (ie. Dr. Phil) do not address the real problem.
Psyc & CJ are my career goals. I'm realistic art doesn't pay the bills. My art is, however, my passion. I do it for me, it's theraputic. If a day comes I do not enjoy it, I can stop. I will have my career to fall back on.
I have a chihuahua, Navarro, 2 beagle/foxer twins, Serena & Fiona and 2 Havana Brown Burmese kitties, Ryo & Puma. My Navarro we got from the SPCA and he is probably my best friend in the world. He has to sit on my lap while I am on the computer, even if this is for hours, he doesn't care. When I first saw him at the SPCA he broke away from the employee and jumped into my arms and hasn't left since. It's ironic because I was there to get another German Shepard after Saber had died. Serena & Fiona we got up the mountains on vacation. We went to the local farm to get some corn for dinner and came home with "the puppies" as they are still called. Their mother was 18 years old (human years) when she gave birth and died in the process. Which is pretty amazing. Serena has stubby legs and reminds me of "Donkey" from SHREK. Fiona is med. sized and is epileptic, she only has episodes @ every 7 months. Ryo & Puma (aka chubby & bad one) we also did not intend to adopt. We're dog people. My folks were at the SPCA and a woman came in with a box of 2 week old kittens. The mother was a neighborhood cat that was hit by a car. She took the cats to the pet shop but was informed that they would have to feed them too the snakes because they didn't have papers. The SPCA would only put the cats to sleep because they were too young to adopt. So everyone in the SPCA lobby grabbed a kitten in each hand and adopted them without having to pay the 35$ fee. We had to bottle feed them for 3 weeks. Ryo, the bad one, is in love w/ our chihuahua and puma, chubby, is in love with dog food, lol.
