Fanfiction is good practice for writing original material; it's a great training ground. You have your main pieces set before you; the rest is up to you and your imagination.
I like to write if only to play with my own imagination. Fanfiction is great as it's a chance to imagine your own story within an established environment - and who wouldn't want that?
If it so happens to entertain others then that's great! If it doesn't, well it doesn't. What more can I say than that? |
